날짜를 영어로 쓰고 읽는 방법!

 

난 사실 1월~12월 영어로 다 못쓴다. (심각한데)

당연히 영어식으로 날짜를 어떻게 쓰는지도 잘 모른다!

그래서 어떻게 쓰는지 찾아봤다!

 

오늘은 2019년 6월 21일 이다.

이걸 영어로 바꾸면 June 21st, 2019 이고,

June Twenty-first, Two thousand nineteen 이라고 읽으면 된다

영국 : 21st June 2019 (일 월 년)

* 영국식으로 표기할 때는 연도 앞에 콤마( , )가 없다!

'앞 두자리, 뒤 두자리' 끊어서 읽기

'0'이 들어가는 경우

1608 ▶ sixteen oh eight / sixteen hundred eight

2000년 부터는 thousand 로 읽어준다

이게 발음하기 좋고 듣기 쉽다.

2005 ▶ two thousand five / two thousand and five

2010 ▶ two thousand ten / twenty ten

2019 ▶ two thousand nineteen / twenty nineteen
